Whether you are a long time member, have recently joined or are just checking out the neighborhood, Young Israel of Great Neck (YIGN) has a lot to offer.  With 300 families, dozens of classes and Shiurim and a very active youth program, there is truly something and someone for everyone.

The membership committee strives to enhance the feeling of community that is so important to the success of our shul. Events are run several times during the year in an attempt to help newer members ease into the community, such as Shabbos lunches and new member’s gatherings. Past events have included bowling at Dave and Busters, a game night at the shul and a sushi making class.

For those individuals or families contemplating a move to Great Neck, the membership committee would be happy to arrange home hospitality for a Shabbos or for meals if needed.  New members enjoy such perks such as free first year membership and a complimentary invite to the shul dinner for the first year.
